Configure your email for Microsoft Outlook 2000

Step 1: Select "Tools" then "Accounts."




Step 2: Select "Add" then "Mail."




Step 3: Enter your full name.




Step 4: Enter your email address.




Step 5: Select POP3 as your server type. Enter your incoming server as "mail.yourdomain.com". For the SMTP our outgoing mail server, enter the server given to you by your Internet Service Provider (ISP).




Step 6: As your account name enter your FULL email address. You may enter your password here and have it saved, or not enter it and have to give your password each time you check your email.




Step 7: Choose the method that you connect to the Internet with.




Step 8: Click "Finish" and at the next dialog box click "Close". You are now configured to check your email.
